About Us:
Vangie started with Park Lane in 1981 as a part time director hoping to make enough for payments on a new Honda Accord. She loved the Park Lane opportunity. It was so easy she made $18K plus won a cruise for 2 her 1st year - remember, this was 1981 and she was still part time with Park Lane! It was easy to see this was a promising future so she left her regular J.O.B. and went with Park Lane fulltime.
With her first full time year yielding $44K (1982) along with earning 2 more trips plus several diamond rings, there was no question Vangie had made the right decision! Lawrence joined Park Lane that year and was a natural from the start. As the team grew, so did everyone's income! Vangie realized over 6 figures for several years running. She describes herself however as "not a smart investor and spent it like crazy when I should have been smarter and saving some of it"!
In addition to all team members realizing increased income, many also earned all expense paid vacations to destinations including Hawaii, Rome, Switzerland, Paris, Rio, Cancun, Hong Kong, Canada, The Bahamas, and many more! Lawrence recalls one team member remarking "it's wonderful how no one has ever gotten hurt trying Park Lane, and look how many of us have gone on to enjoy profits, bonuses, and trips beyond any of our imaginations"!!
In 1996, a health scare and 45 years of age, found Vangie falling victim to the notion that she should return to a "real job" with benefits and an eye toward retirement. A friend suggested that as recruiters in the computer industry both Vangie and Lawrence could make tons of money with their background in sales and recruiting. A wonderful and successful friend, to be sure that she believed it to be true, yet the best year Vangie had in over 10 years was $56K. The retirement benefits didn't fare any better.
Each missing Park Lane and now a couple, they decided to go back to what they love. So now Vangie is already back to fulltime with Park Lane, loving every minute, and Lawrence's goal is to join her in the full time ranks soon!!
